4th of July fun-ness!!!

Well, our 4th of July was super, hope yours was too! We started the day at the parade in Lenexa, it wasn't too hot or too cool, and a tad overcast, perfect weather for a parade.
Next, we found ourselves at Mimi's Cafe for lunch, yummo!

Afterwards, Maycee decided to learn how to ride her bike without training wheels-finally!!!

Morgan was just being happy and cute in the garage.

We ended the day at our friends home, the Salazars, for a BBQ, and fireworks.

Gotta love watermelon, corn on the cob, cheetos and hot dogs on the 4th of July!

Madyson's Softball days...

This past season of Softball was Madyson's first. She had played t-ball in the past, but was ready for the "big stuff", coach pitch. We had a great time watching her games twice a week and are so proud of her and the progress she made this season.

Most of the games towards the end were blistering hot nights, she didn't like being "sweaty"...such a girl!

As you can see, Carter must have had a pretty good time, either that or he was just loony and a mess by the end of the games. This shot was a more dirty night. It was so hot!Mom and Morgan at her last game
