Real or Fake?

This has to be fake, but it sure looks like fun...I think.

4 Years Old!!!

It was birthday time last week as Carter turned 4 years old! I can hardly believe he is that old already. He is our special little Buster and we are so happy to have him in our family! My favorite thing he'll tell me lately is this, "Mom, I'm so sweet to you, huh?" Isn't that funny and cute?! We love you Carter and hope you have an awesome 4th year! Sorry the pics are pretty crummy...our camera was giving us fits.

Randomness of our life....

So I just wanted to put some pics of our life these days....for those of you that see us all the time it may not be so fun, but for our family that is so far away I hope you enjoy :)
Isn't she sweet....
Morgan and Carter on the trampoline :)
Madyson and Maycee can swing and twist on this old rusty swingset for hours at a time. They are usually screaming and yelling the whole time....our poor neighbors.
Cutie batootie...
Carter and Mom chillin
A shot of Madyson as she just came home from school, she's so cute!
Carter in front of my Rose of Sharon Tree...this thing is so gorgeous at the end of the summer, the blossoms are never ending. Although they fall off constantly and so the girls get the job of picking them off the ground :)
My favorite flower in my beds this year! I've had these purple little delights a couple of years before but can't always find them every season. They start out so small and just blossom into these beauties. I love the small little round purple flower, they are bold and different. I LOVE THEM!
THE END :) COME AGAIN!

Garden harvest...

Just a reminder of the beginnings....ugh!!!Ryan would go outside after work every day and "will" his garden to grow. He fought off bunnies and birds, and I really think he talked to it lovingly if not out loud then I know he did in his head :)
Alright, so I know it's not much, but we actually got something from our tiny little garden this year....wow! Had to document :)

Ahhhh...school has started!!

Well, the blessed day has arrived, first day of school! Madyson is in 3rd grade and Maycee in 1st.
After I got the girls on the bus this is what I walked (hobbled) into the house to see...so I had to take a picture. I didn't know if he was sad and crying because the girls were gone or just tired. He wasn't crying, ha!
Feeling pretty good here without the big sisters around.
Here's a shot of Morgan this morning...she was looking cute, so I had to take a pic of her too :)

Bloomington Lake, ID

While in Idaho, we hiked up to Bloomington Lake. If you haven't ever done it and are in the area, it's worth the afternoon to do the short hike over to the lake. It's beautiful!!!This is a little pond/lake off the hike up to Bloomington lake. We stopped on the way down and some got in to get their feet wet. Maycee, however just wanted to barely get in and once in, she wouldn't get out, meaning she wouldn't put her feet back in the water....OHHH she was a mess. Jessica was trying to hold her up so that she didn't just drop in and we were all laughing so hard that it was hard to move, or take a picture.
Needless to say, she became a bit of a mess on the way out of the water as she was drug through the water and mud to get out. She doesn't seem to care here though!
Ryan swinging into the lake off the rope swing. He didn't realize what he was going up there to do, but I think he loved it. He did it several times, see the video below....

We had to cross these logs on part of the hike to get up to the lake. Lucky they were pretty stable, though, in some areas not too wide. Do that with 2 infants, 2 preschoolers and 2 gradeschoolers and it's pretty nerve racking!!

A fun time was had by ALL, exept Morgan she pretty much fussed the entire time we were at the lake...ugh!

LAGOON!

I don't care who you are or what you say...we'll always love Lagoon. It's a perfect little amusement park for families with small and big kids alike! They have put in so many new rides the past 5 years, it's a blast for us!

Bear Lake and Cabin fun!

Swimmin' at the Lake...always fun times!!

Maria and Jessica
Oh the beauty of Bear Lake, especially from the cabin high up on the mountain! Grandpa made a new toy, the Rocket shooter! It was pretty fun watching them make their own rockets and shooting them up into the sky. The video below is of them doing one. Madyson putting her rocket on the launcher.

The boys made sure to stay back away from the launcher.
The rest of us watched from the lower deck.

Ryan and Gavin after a long 4-wheeler ride. I think Ryan's got the bigger dirt mustache. SO FUN!

Hangin' out....

After a long drive we finally made it to Utah Saturday afternoon. We all had the wiggles pretty bad, so decided to climb in one of Grandpa Hall's front trees, his largest Walnut tree.Carter and Grandpa contemplating the finer things of life, I'm sure :)
Best Buds, Carter and his cousin Talmage!

Some of the Hall Clan...minus the ones without chillin's

Sitting around at the Boehme farm, almost time for the infamous weenie and marshmallow roast!
The kids wandered down to the milk barn.
