Alright, so Ryan wants me to post this, but I've been hesitant....I don't write, and honestly have no idea where this came from. Monday was in the mid 70's here and the kids were out of school (again), I was sitting in the living room reading the Readers Digest when this all just came out on one of the million notebooks we seem to have lying around the house because the girls like to do Journals.
I think that I am ready...
but really are you ever ready?
It's a lot to take in, a lot
for a body to go through,
a lot of emotions to wrap
my brain around.
Clothes are washed,
beds are made, blankets folded,
diapers bought, binkies boiled...
pump not done yet. Hoping to
not need the pump, as I've been
attached to it before...not my
favorite, not the preference of choice.
Kids are playing, laughing, screaming,
swinging, running, being kids.
Mostly laughing...that's a good thing.
Poor neighbors can't enjoy the
nice day as the kids do....
unless- they like the noise of kids.
Nope, I don't think I'm ready!

You are a wonderful mother and I'm sure you are feeling hesitant, but you know how natural things will come as you are put into the new baby stages again soon. I miss you tons and am looking forward to the new arrival!!
Did you write this? It is great.
Yes, Jess, I wrote that, isn't it a miracle?!
Way to go babe. I'm proud of you. :)
Ryan
That was awesome! You are going to be great. Did it make you feel better to write out your feelings? It always helps me. :)
Big hugs!
I LOVE your thoughts. You are a wonderful mother and even though you never feel ready, you will cherish each moment of holding a new precious baby. Lesson to learn: you will never feel ready to take another step on life's ladder, but you just step up with faith.
Love,
Mom
You don't give yourself enough credit. You said it perfectly. That's the interesting thing about pregnancy. You know for nine months the event will be life changing whereas other life events are usually unexpected. Sounds like someone's nesting!:) When are you due? SO excited for you. Keep us in the loop!
Love ya!
Jess
