Utah Christmas Trip 2009

We made our bi-yearly exodus back to the motherland. We thought it would be a great idea to travel on Christmas Eve, not really. We actually missed out on some cheaper flights because I (Ryan) thought we'd be able to get them cheaper if we waited just a hair longer. Well we didn't so we had to take the Christmas Eve flights. Lucky for me we missed the great blizzard of 2009 in Kansas City by about two hours. If we would have missed our flights to Utah for the holidays, I would not be here to write this little post bloggy thingy. So here you go...some pics of our fun and travels.

Utah mountains, (Maria got a new camera for her B-day and we had to try it out.)

Enjoying some quality family time in the Denver airport on our layover. If you're ever in the Denver airport and you need something to entertain the kids, they have a great little tram that zips from terminal to terminal. After about an hour and a half though it gets a little old for them.
Aunt Seece (Marisa) and Carter working on their special faces. You're welcome for the picture Marisa. :)
Christmas Eve with the Marchand, Beasley, and Weaver Klans. We're at my Aunt Carroll's house.
Christmas morning at the Hall's. Tradition has it that everyone needs to gather on Gma and Gpa's bed. Some day we're going to break it so I try to make sure I video this gathering as well because that will probably be pretty funny.
Here is part of the sledding hill up at the Bear Hall-o cabin. We made it out without any injures and all kids accounted for.
Hello Madyson
Hello again Madyson, you are cute.

Gma and Gpa Hall just getting finished doing their rap with a string talent. You're welcome for the picture. :)
Uncle Mikey was able to score us some front row tickets to the Weber State basketball team. We had a great time, got lots of fun Weber State stuff and some great pictures. Weber State won as well so that is a bonus. For those interested Weber is third in the Big Sky Conference and has a 9w-7l record. If I knew the fight song I would sing it....do they have a fight song? Nevermind....
This is my Nana. Verna McGraw. Wonderful lady who has been through a lot in life and keeps on pluggin. We were thrilled to see her.
Grandma Beasley and Seece teaching Madyson some dance moves.
This is what you can make with the greatest snow on earth. Can't wait until this -0 Kansas winter warms up a bit. We had a great time and love our families so, thanks to everyone for letting us invade your lives and homes for a week or two. We wish everyone a productive and prosperous 2010!
