So our emotions are in check for the moment. We're so excited for the future of the area and what a temple will do for the church here. We are very GRATEFUL (x's 100) for such a blessing. I can't imagine some members having to drive all day and spend so much money to go to the temple. Right now we only have to drive 4 hours anything closer is incredible. Who knows depending on where they build the temple maybe we'll see a lot of our fellow western Mormons real soon. ;) We have room in our backyard for about 20 tuff sheds. HAHA!
Here is a link to check out the area. We live in Gardner, under Olathe.

This is exciting news we are seriously considering coming back. Can we have one of your sheds?
Actually Gardner is the temple site. It will be right by the new chapel! We cheered when we heard the news this morning! Can we move in the tough shed right next to the Karpowitz's? We need a tornado-proof double-wide though. Matt
Don and I talked all afternoon after the announcement at conference about moving to Kansas City. I told him, "see, I told you we should consider moving to Kansas City" Who knows, someday soon??? I am excited for you guys and everyone in that area.
That was awesome news. We are so excited. Let us know when the tell you the location!
Yeah! That is soo exciting!
It is such a testimony builder when you know a temple is being built because the lord know your concerns and he loves you. That is how we felt when they built the Rexburg temple. Even though there is a Temple in IF they built the temple in Rexburg for the students of BYUI. You now have to stay in KC until the temple is done and finished. It is a great experience to watch it as they built it and to be there during the ground braking and the help in the dedication and open house. It is so wonderful! I am so happy for you.
