Seriously, I watched some of the debate tonight and I just can't do it. I can't vote for either of them. I can stand listening to Obama and I like what he says, but can life really be peaches, flowers, fairies, with money growing on trees for everyone to have "their fair share." Obama talked about abortion tonight and he said he is Pro-Choice and he believes when a woman wants an abortion they will counsel with their partner, parents, and religious leaders before they make a decision.
Why can't McCain respond with some reality like, "Come on Senator you really think the 17 year old couple that just found out their lives are going to flip upside down are going to do that? I doubt it, they're going to gather up $500 and go to the clinic."
Obama was asked a question about whether Sarah Palin was qualified. He blabbed and tried to be nice. I would have loved it if he would have said, "Are you kidding me? Senator McCain if die, you are 72 years old for crying out loud, do you really think Governor Palin is qualified to lead the United States of America? Really when you chose her did you think you'd live forever and she wouldn't ever be the President? No Mr. Moderator I don't think she is qualified."
Those are some of the thoughts that I have going through my head, I better leave the rest there. I probably said to much already, but venting a little may help me sleep tonight. Either way, Pres. Obama or Pres. McCain I don't see anything getting any better any time soon.
