Food Storage Post!!

So I've been checking out a couple of blogs trying to find examples of food storage shelves and also get some ideas for other items we could put in our food storage. If you want I can list what we have in our food storage just for some ideas. I mainly wanted to share this posting by some lady that is ummm.....very prepared. I don't know what else to say about it, Maria and I just couldn't believe what she has. Let me know what you think.

You have to scroll down a little bit to get to her pictures...

Wow! That puts my food storage to shame. I like her tags for labeling, that is a great idea.

Wow, gosh who doesn't want to be her neighbor when a emergency hits:) I like the part where she says that she has a small family so she probably doesn't have as much as a bigger family would, uh ok! I think I might have a pack of gum laying around my basement somewhere.

That just makes me feel stupid...once we're done with school, looks like all the tuition money SHOULD be spent on food storage...here I come!

Holy crap is all I can say! Honestly, how much of that stuff is going to be thrown away because it got old before it was used??
I do have the rectangle buckets for my food storage and keep them in my pantry as well. They are 3 gallon buckets so they are easy to lift and they have a lid that only opens on one end - makes it really nice! I would recommend those buckets to everyone!

BTW check my recipe blog for links to food storage sites!
