So to continue with the story.....when the kids got out of the pool and baths, Carter wasn't feeling well at all. He had a high fever, not fun at a hotel. We don't like him to get fevers because his have a tendancy to spike at any moment and then he goes into febrile seizures. NOT FUN! So Ryan had to run to the store to get some IBU and Tyl and a thermometer so we'd be able to monitor him in the night. We went on this temple trip with 3 other familes, so we can swap kids while in the temple. I wasn't comfortable leaving Carter with someone else, in case he had an episode, so Amanda and I stayed at the hotel and watched all the kids while everyone went and were able to do a session together. I was bummed to not be able to go, but it paled in comparison to how I was feeling about Carter's situation. His fever did break in the middle of the night, but then reoccured this afternoon on the way home, so he's all doped up again. Poor little boy! He was so happy to be home this evening. Tomorrow is Mothers Day and with Ryan in the Bishopbric, he has to go, but I may have to stay home with all the kids, fun day for me :) We'll see how tonight goes, the kids and I may just go for Sacrament Meeting. Here are some pictures of the kiddos at the temple. It wasn't cold, but I wish it would've been sunny!!! Happy Mothers Day to ALL!!!!

Thanks for the reminder of how lucky we are to have a temple so close. I have really taken that for granted. Happy mothers day to you too!
Looks like you guys had a fun time at the temple.
Sorry to hear about your little guy getting sick. Nothing quite so scary as a mom. I didn't know Ryan was in the Bishopric. Wow, that's wonderful and YOUNG to get started. Watch out, soon he'll be Stk. Pres. and then we'll be seeing him up there on the stand and General Conference. They always start the best ones out early. Like Pres. Monson, bishop at 22. Hope your son is feeling better.
Maria,
Great Pics. I didn't know that your hubby was in the Bishopric (how cool is that) or that you had to take a trip to get to the temple. (I obviously take that for granted)
I've been slowing down on my bloggin (trying to manage my time better) but I sure think you have a great family!!
Take Care
