Here is what happens when you go out of town and have over 3 inches of rain when you're gone.
I added the little curvy lines through the yard for the effect and it was to tempting not to.
While I was mowing I was waiting for a snake or something to slither over my foot. The rabbits like to make little nests in this long grass, I was hoping not to run one of them over. Hate to make a mess in the yard. :)
This picture is mainly for Maria. She is out of town for a couple of more days and loves details, here is a close up for you Moosh.
One really good thing about letting the grass grow long is when it gets cut it sure looks good.
Speaking of looking good. Here is me and my 7 horses. HA! That's how I roll!! No, so seriously, I have a question for anyone who mows the lawn. What goes through your head? Do you imagine yourself racing? I race, race who? I don't know, most of the time I race the neighbor mowing his lawn, it makes it better when they have a head start. Weedeating the yard is even better. Have you seen the professionals weedeat a yard. To get that good I need to upgrade my equipment then I'll be able to compete.
Another thing I like to do when I mow is leave the kids balls around the yard, then I kid them back and forth. I would suggest only doing this if your yard is fenced in otherwise that game doesn't last to long.
Growing up we had a dog....you know where I'm going with this. There is nothing worse then running over some fresh doooo and having the strong aroma stream through your nostrils... (how's that for writing?) then puking a little in your mouth. I miss having a dog sometimes, but I don't miss that.

Very nice. Gotta love the doggy doo. We're renting right now and our landlord has a landscaping crew that mows the lawn for us. Always fun when they get there before we've sent the kids out to clean up. Good times.

So this is what a father does when he is stuck home alone without the kids. My hubby would have waited till 5minutes before I walked in the door to pick everything up and mow the lawn. You must have been really bored, or really like your 7 horses? Ha ha. We miss you guys.
