Madyson finally lost her two front teeth. Thank goodness for the school nurse, she pulled both of them. Madyson wanted her to pull them because she would put them in a little plastic treasure chest. In fact one day Maria went to pick her up at school, she went through the line of cars and when Maria got to the front no one knew where Madyson was. The teachers outside didn't know, they paged her over the intercom in the school. Maria was nervous, almost to the point of freaking out. The teachers were giving each other worried looks, that didn't help Maria. Then she come strolling out of the school with one of the first grade teachers. She was in Nurse Diana's office trying to get her last tooth pulled, it didn't come out that day. So Maria made sure she knew next time Madyson went into the nurse's office. Sure enough the next week she came out with the smile you see above.
For those who are interested, the going rate in our family for a tooth is $1.00.
